It deserves a minor reprieve just for the last three lines, delivered by Riker, Picard, and Data.

Sorry, I still don't like Shades of Grey. They should have just made that season one episode short instead.

It was actually four episodes short. Seasons 1 and 3-7 all had 26 episodes, season 2 had only 22. Including Shades. But maybe they could have managed with 21.

Of course, there are episodes I dislike too. "Half a Life" comes to mind.
