The most disliked episode of TNG - Part Seven

Okay Trek fans, "least disliked" has concluded, so now it's time for the opposite. The basic idea here is your standard elimination game. I'll provide a list of the episodes for each season and you need to eliminate your favorite or the one you deem the 'best.' Please provide an EXPLANATION for why you are eliminating your choice and be sure to copy and paste the list with your choice removed. Finally, leave at least 2 eliminations by other posters before you play again. Pretty simple. Enjoy! :bolian:

Saving Lower Decks first - loved seeing things from a different perspective, the intertwining poker games was a brilliant scene, and the ending still makes me tear up a bit. One of my all-time favourites.

I will kindly begin by keeping "Masks" out of the danger zone.

Brent Spiner's awesome acting, the darkness of the ship with the emergency lights, Troi being in uniform the whole episode, and not to mention an epic hell-like theme to it all? I still fail to understand why there is so much hate against it but that's everyone else's opinion, not mine.

I'll save The Pegasus, since it's a great romp about cloaking devices and the technology behind them.

"Thine Own Self" is a pretty good Data vessel.

Saving Paralells, a great high-concept episode with great touches small and big and a good Worf episode to boot. One of Braga's best.

"Preemptive Strike" is a good episode indeed. Of course, anything featuring a Bajoran tends to sway me, but still.

I've always enjoyed Attached - Stewart and McFadden play off each other well, and it's easy to feel a genuine friendship+more between the two.

"Descent, Part II" gets saved before it's too late. Not the best episode by a long shot but again, I'm a total sucker for Data/Lore. Definitely could have done without quite as many bridge scenes, which is no disservice to Crusher's character or Gates McFadden but I found the story involving the officers she was working with rather corny.

I enjoyed Phantasms a lot more as a kid than I do now, but it's still a good deal of bizarre surreal fun, and one of the most referenced episodes between my brother and I.

"Gambit" is a nice two-parter. I'm saving its first hour.

I would keep "Eye of the Beholder" but as much of a sucker I am for Troi, that episode is too dramatic and intense for me to save.

"Sub Rosa" deserves a keep because I always enjoy a good Beverly episode, and a ghost-sex storyline.

Saving "Eye of the Beholder" not a sucker for Troi at all but this episode is one of her best.

Gambit (II)- Good conclusion to a solid two parter.

When I was little, "Dark Page" was the episode that got me hooked on Star Trek: TNG to begin with!!! and Troi...

...I always enjoy a good Beverly episode...

What does that have to do with Sub Rosa?

I'll save Inheritance - the concept of "Data's mother!" is one I could have done without, but Fionnula Flanagan did a great job in the role.
