The most disliked episode of TNG - Part Four

Suddenly Human
Legacy
The Loss
Galaxy's Child
Qpid
Half a Life
The Host

Removing Final Mission - granted, it's the cliched Wesley saves the day-send off episode but I always had a soft spot for Picard-Wesley-interaction...

Suddenly Human
The Loss
Galaxy's Child
Half a Life
The Host

Legacy - I like how they had the guts to show that not all Humans are perfect and that the Federation can't solve everything.

Suddenly Human
The Loss
Galaxy's Child
The Host

Saving "Half a Life" -- I don't care what you all call me, this was a good episode, dammit!

Suddenly Human
The Loss
The Host

You ain't exactly left anything for me! I saved "Galaxy's Child" because I have a soft spot for Leah Brahms.

UUUGH!

I wanted to save "Remember Me?" because it was a fun episode to watch but Dream beat me to it! It was just my favorite Beverly episode next to 7x14 "Sub Rosa".

Suddenly Human
The Loss

I'll save The Host. It's a decent episode, even if the ramifications aren't properly explored, first with Riker, and secondly with the new female host.

The Loss

I saved Suddenly Human. I liked Picard's interaction with Jono and we had some great acting from Patrick Stewart. The ending was unexpected.

The Loss had nothing going for it.

I find "The Loss" better than either of those two episodes, but to each their own. I mostly agree with the bottom three, at least.

I remember reading the outline for "The Loss" when I got the DVD boxset...

Deanna loses her empathic powers; the
Enterprise is slowly pulled off course by an unknown force existing in two-dimensional form.

...I decided to watch "Data's Day first.

Personally, I have a similar reaction to almost any episode involving silly, contrived one-shot romance. "Riker falls for whoever." "While on a routine survey mission, Geordi falls for a beautiful whatever." You could make it about Q falling for the entire Borg Collective and there's a decent chance I still wouldn't care.

Although that one would certainly break the mold a bit... maybe.

Devil's Due is the only episode from this season I truly despise, though The Loss is a decent loser too.

Yeah I'm surprised Devil's Due went so early, that's the worst of the season for me too.

The Loss is pretty average though. The way Troi acts when she loses her empathic ability is pretty horrible, and one of the few good parts was Riker putting her in her place. I also liked Guinan counseling her.
