This is a twist on a game that is played here, which I thoroughly enjoyed.

Here's the game. The basic idea is your standard elimination game. I'll provide a list of the episodes for each season and you need to eliminate your most favorite or the one you deem the 'best.' Please provide an EXPLANATION for why you are eliminating your choice and be sure to copy and paste the list with your choice removed. Finally, leave at least 2 eliminations by other posters before you eliminate another episode.

No tactical voting! You cannot remove an episode because you feel they would threaten your preferred episode's chance to win. Pretty simple. Enjoy!

I’ll take The Jihad from the list. I always liked this episode. I thought it would have made a better Star Trek : TMP script than that abominable rehash of The Changeling that they filmed. V’ger bored me to death!

"Beyond The Farthest Star" is a great kick-off for TAS. I am a sucker for a spooky-ancient-thing-in-space story, and the tonal shifts at the end of this are WILD -- the alien wailing about his horrible, agonizing, endless loneliness, and then the hard jump right into cheerful triumphant music. Hurray?

I am taking “The Counter-Clock Incident” just for Karla 5’s ship…so even though it wasn’t up there…I’m not having it as worst. Crap that’s season 2 isn’t it?

I never thought much of Megas Tu as a child. In Alabama, if I wanted to see religious zealots, I could look at the church across the street. I watched Trek to get away from that. It should be the worst…even if it is the best to watch on acid.

Lots still to enjoy here, but "The Survivor" is the other really fantastic start-to-finish story from this season. So well crafted. After "Yesteryear", it packs the most emotional impact of anything in TAS.

I would eliminate "One of Our Planets is Missing." Yeah, it's awfully similar to "The Immunity Syndrome," but frankly it's the tighter and more disciplined take on that kind of story. There were more than a few occasions where TAS echoing TOS revealed how much padding there was in a lot of the original's outings.

I've deleted "The Ambergris Element." It's a fun episode and takes advantage of the animation format. We see a cool aqua ship and have scenes of characters underwater.
