Where No man Has Gone Before Great story that sold the series to NBC.

Mudd's Women
What Are Little Girls Made Of?
Miri
Dagger of the Mind
Shore Leave
The Galileo Seven
Tomorrow is Yesterday
Court Martial
The Return of the Archons
The Alternative Factor
Operation: Annihilate!

Charlie X is gone. I liked the loneliness of the character, and some pretty creepy moments, like when he takes her face off. And his last line os heartbreak. "I can't even touch them! Please let me stay... stay... stay..."

The Man Trap
Mudd's Women
What Are Little Girls Made Of?
Miri
Dagger of the Mind
Shore Leave
Tomorrow is Yesterday
Court Martial
The Return of the Archons
The Alternative Factor
Operation: Annihilate!

I've removed The Galileo Seven, as it's a great test for Spock. Really good episode.

It's easier voting out ones you like. ;)

Mudd's Women
What Are Little Girls Made Of?
Miri
Dagger of the Mind
Shore Leave
Court Martial
The Return of the Archons

"Tomorrow is Yesterday" is safe. Good concept. Sure, it's been done a bunch of times since, but still. Nice message and I really liked Captain Christopher.

The Man Trap
Mudd's Women
What Are Little Girls Made Of?
Miri
Dagger of the Mind
Court Martial
The Return of the Archons
The Alternative Factor
Operation: Annihilate!

Shore Leave - a fun concept and Emily Banks =

Miri
Dagger of the Mind
Court Martial
The Return of the Archons
The Alternative Factor
Operation: Annihilate!

Mudd's Women:
Pretty much agree with everyones votes so far but not overly keen on most of what's left.

Mudd's Women is at least amusing.

The Man Trap
What Are Little Girls Made Of?
Miri
Dagger of the Mind
The Return of the Archons
The Alternative Factor
Operation: Annihilate!

"Court Martial" had some relatively progressive undertones... the woman of the week was fairly strong-willed in her determination to get to the heart of the matter despite having once been involved with Kirk! And a black actor's character held the rank of Commodore, higher than anywhere else in TOS! Not bad.

What Are Little Girls Made Of?
Miri
Dagger of the Mind
The Return of the Archons
The Alternative Factor
Operation: Annihilate!

The Man Trap Enjoyable early episode that introduces McCoy's dislike of the transporter and shows the effects of a phsaer stun.

What Are Little Girls Made Of?
Miri
Dagger of the Mind
The Alternative Factor
Operation: Annihilate!

I've taken away "The Return of the Archons" because it's actually a reasonably enjoyable episode with cool sets and wardrobes. It's also hilarious for some reason when the townspeople start rioting and then go completely back to normal!

What Are Little Girls Made Of?
Miri
The Alternative Factor
Operation: Annihilate!

"Dagger of the Mind" for introducing us to the Vulcan mind meld.

What Are Little Girls Made Of?
Miri
The Alternative Factor
Operation: Annihilate!

Dagger of the Mind: The Shat hamming it up in the chair and Helen Noel was pretty cute.

Miri
The Alternative Factor
Operation: Annihilate!

What Are Little Girls Made Of? Ruk is quite impressive and the frozen planet isn't bad. Also probably the episode that most features Nurse Chapel.

Miri
The Alternative Factor

Removed "Operation: Annihilate!" despite it being a pretty medicore episode, it's still the best of the remaining three.

The Alternative Factor

Removed Miri because The Alternative Factor really sucks, has no catch phrases like "bonk bonk on the head" and I had a crush on Kim Darby back in the day,

I may have said Miri myself at a stretch, but I can't disagree with you. :)

The Alternative Factor

Agreed, this actually went pretty much as I'd hoped couldn't really disagree with anyones choices.

Bring on part 2

^ OK. Who besides plynch? ;)

While I don't dislike the actor, I cannot stand that episode.

And as if I didn't hate it enough, several years ago a local channel that aired TOS late at night had some sort of screw up and aired The Squire of Gothos eight straight nights.

On the plus side, it cured my insomnia on those eight nights.
