I am saving Melora. I enjoyed it for what it was; it doesn't deserve to be the worst. ETA: And Melora was a good idea of a character, the plot was decent, nothing deep or anything, but most of the rest of this list is rather boring.

"Playing God" is a schizophrenic episode. Its micro-universe stuff is not very compelling. The Dax story is OK enough to skate it by though.

So regardless of any potential confusion I'd say "Sanctuary" lost the round. Not my least favorite -- that award goes to "Second Sight" -- but it's pretty bad.

I'd say that was pretty far down the list too. I couldn't remember it when I first saw the title, I think I was getting confused with Second Skin. Then I remembered it and wished I'd never dredged it up!

Haha, yes. I occasionally get those two confused as well, which is irksome because I consider "Second Skin" one of the best episodes from the third season. And then I kick myself for that confusion when I remember what "Second Sight" was about.

Sanctuary is the first ep of DS9 that I remember seeing so it's a bit of a sentimental favourite, but yeah, it's not very good.

Still, bottom of the list for me would have been Melora, with Rivals and Profit and Loss right behind.
