As for myself, I'll save Little Green Men - for my money one of the funniest Trek episodes ever.

"Broken Link" is somewhat quiet for its place in the season but terrific setup for what promises (and delivers) to be a thrilling fifth season.

And in a surprise to no one, The Muse is the season's loser! I don't even think it's that bad, but S4 was pretty consistently good, so a mediocre bit of mostly filler like this one stands out unfortunately.

I think it was... pretty bad, I don't know, somewhere around my tenth-lowest episode overall. Definitely the weakest of this season though.

Fair enough, I actually don't think I've ever seen it in a decade or so, so it might be worse than I remember.

Anyways, looking forward to season 5. IMO the best season of DS9 and possibly of modern Trek as a whole, though with two obvious bombs...

Lets be fair, some of these episodes we are elimnating might have passed as avergae n some of ST series, their only misfortune was to be in a series of gneerally high quality

Oh dear, missed all the fun this time. I agree that The Muse is a horrible episode. I never quite understood either how Lwaxana made it over to DS9 in the first place. Though to be fair, The Forsaken in season one showed her in a better light.

I didn't really think Indiscretion or Sons of Mogh were bottom 3 episodes, but I'd forgotten how consistent season 4 was. The quality has ramped up now.
