The MOST Disliked Episode of DS9 - Final Part...

Might go with A Simple Investigation this time. An episode whose only problem is being a little boring against a lot of hugely flawed episodes. Between this and The Reckoning for me with the current selection. Two 5/10 episodes, one 4/10, one 3/10, and the rest lower.
Looks like Prophet Motive gets eliminated soon. Honestly only a couple episodes would need to get eliminated for me to vote for it, but it is seriously the most cartoonish episode in the series.

A Simple Investigation for me also. I agree with what someone said in the Season Five portion of the game - it mostly suffers from it's placement in the series. Had it been before Odo regained his shapeshifting abilities, it could have been a lot more interesting.

"A SIMPLE INVESTIGATION" gets my vote this round. I have to agree with what was said in the season 5 thread, the placement of the episode in the season is what brings it down. Despite many parts of it being predictable, it still would have been better had it been produced and aired while Odo was humanoid.
Oh, and we do finally get to see an Idanian. I guess Odo got to taste her spiced pudding...

With Simple Investigation out I guess I will go to Reckoning.
It's a good episode, and I like the emotional themes with Sisko trusting the Prophets absolutely not to hurt his son. On the other hand, it makes the least sense in the Prophet arc. They seem pretty linear in this ep, and it crosses over a bit to the magic realm.
The Pagh Wraiths didn't account that the Prophet's power was...OVER NINE THOUSAAAND!

I am "PLAYING GOD" this round. I actually liked the A story with Dax, having her try to not be Curzon but realizing sometimes he had the right mode of thinking. And it was nice to see her character fleshed out more at this stage of the series.
The B story, which I remember the preview when it first aired was actually the focus of it, was a cool concept. I would have liked to have seen something of that universe revisited. Hell, I wonder if it would have threatened Dominion space if it expanded far enough.
Did the novels ever do a nod or story on that proto-universe?
