I have no idea what the hell I'll vote for after that. There's the one with VAN TTI KCCCA, not one but two episodes where Bashir tries to medically transform patients into girlfriends, two episodes where Dax lords her hedonism over judgmental people to push their buttons and they react like Puritans, a cartoony MU episode, a boring Jake episode and a throwaway Dax romance.

At least Sons & Daughters has some good things about it, even if the Alexander story is face-palmy. I don't know why they decided to make him into such an imbecile and reverse his future as a diplomat.

I'll reset the scores and cast the first vote of this new round for "Playing God," which had some interesting ideas and concepts, and Dax's trying too hard to come across as a cool teacher at least had valid in-story reasons.

The story is onto a couple interesting topics (and a "Worf's childhood moment" bit I recall liking) , but it's not very articulated or consistent, and makes any one of my posts seem like an Ikea instruction manual by comparison (and right down to the picture of that hunchback dude)...

I'll go with "The Passenger" this time. It's not good, but even the worst Trek possession episodes have some entertainment value for me, it's a favorite trope of mine. Caitlin Brown is very good as the guest lead here. And season 1 alone has many episodes I like far less than this one (Storyteller, Dramatis Personae, Move Along Home, Dax, Q-Less, Vortex...)

I am going with "THE PASSENGER" this round. Yes, it was a hammy performance, almost Shatner-esque in some ways, but the story was interesting. Julie Caitlin Brown was a good guest star, and I loved the simplicity of her taking possession of the last remnant of Vantika... with phaser fire.

The episode was ruined, to me anyway, only by the easily seen reveal of Bashir earlier in the episode as posessed Vantika.

Sons and Daughters again, the only one left that isn't truly bottom of the barrel.

Crystalis was the only other episode that isn't a 'skip' episode, I would have voted for it after Sons & Daughters. As creepy as it is that Bashir hits on an emotional infant who is also his patient, at least that episode has some fun. The other remaining episodes don't even have that.

As someone already said the passenger is at least a good mystery story which gives it an edge over the other ones.
