Game The Most Disliked Episode/Movie Directed By A Trek Actor

Awww... no "5 letter title or less" category. Well, maybe next cycle. ;)
We will! Also probably "Long Poetic Titles." I just want to see the list of all those put together. I love Trek's affinity for a long, poetic title.

I also failed to get a handle of one of my favorite lists in time, "Introduction To Recurring Aliens." But, since it was last played, Streaming Trek has brought back SOOOOOOO many previously non-recurring aliens that it just exploded. But I love that one, I'll get a handle on it again by 2024. :bolian:

I will save "Dawn", which is terrible but at least it's a Trip episode and he's pretty.
Trip being pretty excuses so much of his nonsense :luvlove:
~ Absolutely agree, absolutely! :adore: :luvlove:

At this point, "PROFIT AND LACE" is almost a guaranteed 'winner' if it ever shows up in any game.
Quadruple winner "Profit And Lace"! What a lineup of crowns: most disliked Ferengi ep, most disliked comedic light-hearted ep, most disliked 6th season ep, most disliked ep directed by an actor...

It's totally deserved, though I do always say I respect how valiantly the actors try to save it. But they are not miracle workers.
~ I've been away for a few days, but I did manage to watch "Profit and Lace" last night in case there were any redeeming qualities that I'd forgotten about that might save it (should this game have still been going). There weren't.* It really is a horrible, cringe-worthy episode, and I wish I hadn't put myself through it. (I watched ENT: "Precious Cargo" beforehand as I hadn't seen it in ages, but I should have watched it after PaL to take the bad taste away)

* Well, there were a few little bits, but not enough to warrant watching the whole ep:
1. Worf's rather amusing one-liner in response to Nog's anguish about a possible Dominion invasion of Ferenginar
Rom: "Think of the terrible repercussions to the Alpha Quadrant."
Worf: "I cannot think of any."
2. Rom being "adorable. And complicated" as observed by Leeta.
3. Doctor Bashir in that red medical gown/scrubs :luvlove: :luvlove: :luvlove:

Here's a quote from it...

QUARK: "If Ferengi females can wear clothes in public, then they can leave their homes. If they can leave their homes, they can go to work. If they can go to work, they can make profit."
...
ZEK: "Face it, Quark. It's good business. thousands of years, Ferenginar has allowed a valuable resource to go to waste."
QUARK: "Females? A valuable resource?"
ZEK: "They make up fifty three point five percent of the population and contribute virtually nothing to gross planetary income. I say it's time they started pulling their own weight."

So how is it that a society that cared about profit above all else allowed over half its population to contribute next to nothing? That's like a race car driver insisting on using square wheels.

Also, how do they know the ins and outs of all the contracts so that Rom got swindled they way he did?

I must be misremembering then. I thought she had had a hand in it too. But, the Ferengi are my least favorite Trek species so I doubt my memory is accurate.

She was involved in the sense that she tricked Rom into signing a contract without reading it fully. I'd have to look again, and I am not entirely certain which episode Quark mentioned all that.

Cannot believe Perferct Mate won a most disliked contest. A string season, but that is a good episode. And the the Professor, I mean Picard, somehow doesn't fall for Jean Gray!

The fact Picard didn't answer the ambassador at the end implies he DID fall for her.

Yeah. Hard. Too bad he couldn't have made Alrik an offer he couldn't refuse. Surely the Federation had something that guy wanted!
