Bless you, Farscape One.

I looked it up to remember, but the Short Treks episode Runaway had the cool female character who was supposed to be the leader of her species but had run away to avoid her coronation. I just really enjoyed her quirky chemistry with Tilly, and I also liked that she popped up at the end of the season to help with the huge battle.

It's a bit hard to let go of how much the end of the season dropped the ball, but did I luxuriate in the first 2/3's of Picard season 1 when it was first airing. Until the wheels started to come off (the Hugh story in "Nepenthe"), it seemed like the best first season of Trek ever.

I'll save "The End Is The Beginning", for being the true intro to Raffi, a favorite Trek character of mine.

I'm going to save Discovery's "Light And Shadows", because I appreciated how it doesn't keep you waiting around. It feels like a two-parter squeezed into one episode, as it pushes the Spock arc forward two steps while also featuring a B plot about Pike's wild shuttle ride.

Tarka was a cool antagonist for the season, playing against whatever the crew were trying to do to be diplomatic with the 10-C. He had good, sound reasons in terms of his backstory, too.

Yep. At least it wasn't "The Price", she just missed that one!

I'll finish up early Picard season 1 and save "Maps And Legends." I find this one notably weaker than ep 1 and ep 3, specifically because of that IDIOTIC molecular reconstruction device Laris has, and the equally idiotic explanation of the Zhat Vash. Ignore that, and it's as good as the episodes on either side of it.

Again, after looking up summaries to remember what happened, Die Trying was a pretty awesome episode, seeing the crew getting in touch with Starfleet for the first since their jump through time. We also meet Admiral Vance and Adira Tal in this one too.

This is a suitable final two. Possibly the nadir of the franchise, this piece of Disco season 2? Such terrible, tortured scripts.

Despite it being a cool recurring visual, the Red Angel was a bit of a letdown. The way Control became an enemy as well in S2 was also confusing, IIRC.

I liked the flashbacks with Burnham's mother, but that was it. Good choice.

The Red Angel wrap up is without doubt, for me, the low point of ANY Trek. Including TAS.

A fitting last two. Sorry I missed the game.

Just asking, were there once games where you start at the bottom & work our way up? Delete the worst first? Or have those all been played out and that is why we do it this way now?
