Game The Most Disliked Episode: 47's Edition

First pick! I'll save Phage then, as the Vidiians were one of VOY's most creative enemies. They looked pretty scary, and yet they were also quite tragic. They find themselves acting out of desperation and harvesting organs because they were all infected with the Phage.

I was asleep and unable to save it, but glad "A Night in Sickbay" escaped. It's dumb, it's character assassination, but it's also pretty darn funny.

I will actually save "Ex Post Facto", an intriguing murder mystery with Tuvok as a pointy-eared Poirot.

Star Trek IV: The Voyage Home is next for me. It's a great film, with the message about the effects of selfish human nature, no violence, and it's so funny. I loved it so much when I was younger, I was obsessed with watching it.

Saving "Moist Vessel".

It's one of the funniest titled episodes I've ever seen. No, really. Try saying it out loud with a straight face. You can't!

There are some good episodes listed on here....and I usually go after the TOS episodes first. And...even though I really like "What Are Little Girls Made Of?", I have to be honest and take "Nepenthe" off the list. It's a really beautiful looking episode and it pulls on all the genuine heartstrings. It's also a huge fan treat to see the life Riker and Troi have built. It's one of my favorite episodes of the modern era, and definitely my favorite episode of PIC.

Don't think I've ever voted for a Discovery episode, but I remember enjoying "The Butcher's Knife..." With a war on, the crew faces a major ethical dilemma with the spore drive. And I liked Captain Lorca, maybe because he was played by Lucius Malfoy...

Butcher's Knife would have been my next pick. It's undoubtedly a great Star Trek episode, no matter what series it comes from.

I was always a big fan of Jadzia Dax, so why not save the episode based after the symbiant?

I quite like the mystery involved, and it was good finding out more about the Trill early in the run.

I am torn between the 2 comedy classics from TNG's first season. I think I'll go with... "Justice." There is so much awesome 80's ridiculousness to laugh at in this one.

These go by way too fast, LOL.

Movie #7: "Star Trek Generations"

Has a great soundtrack, decent movie themes even if the plot was a bit of a jumble - or two jumbles stitched together. Not the greatest, but pretty good - and arguably very good if you look up the production problems due to the insane schedule...

What's left:
TOS #7: "What Are Little Girls Made Of?"
TAS #4: "The Lorelei Signal"
TNG #4: "The Last Outpost"
DS9 #4: "Babel"
ENT #4: "Unexpected"
ENT #7: "Breaking The Ice"
DIS #7: "Magic To Make The Sanest Man Go Mad"
ST #4: "The Escape Artist"
ST #7: "Ask Not"
PIC #4: "Absolute Candor"
PRO #4: "Terror Firma"

As virus of the week episodes go, Babel is pretty decent. The way it affected people's speech was a different way to go. It was also a pretty good way of seeing the solid chemistry between Benjamin and Jake, or even Kira's take no prisoners approach to finding a cure.

The humor with O'Brien when everything on the station is breaking down was well done, too.

What's left:
TOS #7: "What Are Little Girls Made Of?"
TAS #4: "The Lorelei Signal"

PRO #4: "Terror Firma"

I'm going to save ST #4: "The Escape Artist", as it might be my favourite of the Short Treks. I don't know how Rainn Wilson managed to direct it and star in every scene, but he pulled it off. That Mike McMahan guy's a pretty good writer too.

TOS #7: "What Are Little Girls Made Of?"

I actually really liked "The Last Outpost" when I was a kid. It was one of TNG's only S1 stories that felt like an "adventure," and I like how it highlighted Riker as a leader of away missions

TOS #7: "What Are Little Girls Made Of?"

I really liked "Breaking The Ice" as one of ENT's earlier 'set up the series premise' episodes. The recording for the school kids back on Earth evokes something that a present day NASA space mission crew would do, and I thought Trip's discomfort with finding out about T'Pol's personal life was really well done (and a sign of things to come, perhaps?). Plus, there was fun with the Vulcan snowman, and we get to see our first BIG Vulcan ship. Very impressive!

Saving "Magic to Make the Sanest Man Go Mad".

Rainn Wilson was an inspired choice to play Harry Mudd. I'd actually like to see him return somehow.

TAS #4: "The Lorelei Signal"
ENT #4: "Unexpected"
ST #7: "Ask Not"
PIC #4: "Absolute Candor"

I might have gotten confused with my DIS episodes and didn't realise that Magic To Make The Sanest Man Go Mad was the Harry Mudd one! The time loop had a lot of comedy to it.

EDIT: Ninja'd!

I'll go with Absolute Candor then. The legacy of the Qowat Milat is felt as far as the 31st Century, and it makes that part of the episode better to rewatch, even if the pace of the season had begun to slow down by that point.
