So CEO of Wayne Enterprises doesn't make the cut, eh?
It's much more about the politics of sport than about sports.Invictus puzzles me. Morgan Freeman playing Nelson Mandela is a no-brainer. But in a sports movie???
I think it would be a mistake to presume this is the only story to be told about Mandela.
I see where you were going. My point was simply that there are plenty of stories and time left for them to be told. Ergo, this oen for me would be about as good as any. The greatest most impacting story doesn't have to be the first. To say that Mandela's life affected all facets of South African society is an understatementI think it would be a mistake to presume this is the only story to be told about Mandela.
Well, yes, that's exactly my point. It's not like they hired Freeman to do a series of Mandela pictures. If they were going to make a movie with the no-brainer casting of Morgan Freeman playing Mandela, why would this story be their first choice?
Arrghh, I hate trying to explain an offhand wry observation. It's as annoying as having to explain a joke.
This explains a lot. I had not considered just how many different levelsof command had been occupied by Hollywood's "Mr-Everywhere-Man".
