So, anyone else use CBC Gem? I noticed yesterday that it now prominently says it's brought to you by Amazon....
I have been using it to do a full watch through of
Made in Canada, but, coincidentally, I finished the series last weekend. There was no mention of Amazon at that time. Interesting to hear that that's the case now. I wonder what it means for the future of the service?
I've been told I should give
Ghosts a try, so maybe I'll be back to try that, assuming it's still on the service.
I've been told that Law & Order: Toronto begins tonight.
You were (slightly) misinformed. It actually premiered last night.
If any of you folks manage to see it, feel free to comment. May be awhile before it's broadcast down here.
I'm not really that into police procedurals. I did watch some
Law & Order shows back in the day, because someone I was with at the time liked them. It's been a hot minute, though.

That said, I might actually be curious enough to try watching
L&O: Toronto, except for the fact that a) I gave up cable a while ago, and b) I don't really want to pay $5/month for CItyTV+ to watch a single show I'm only mildly curious about.
I know you've probably never had to look into this, because the US is probably one of the most well-serviced markets in the world, but would it be possible for you to sign up for CityTV+ if you used a VPN? I know some services won't accept foreign credit cards, but since this is through Amazon, maybe their payment methods are a little friendlier?
To tie the two replies together: one procedural I do keep meaning to check out is
Tribal, on CBC Gem. It was mentioned by another poster here, and I think I watched the first episode, but I wanted to get through
Made in Canada first, and that took a while. (I don't watch a lot of TV!
