Oh that's brilliant. The whole side quest/Intern was great but I think the random celebrity names out of the hat actually made me laugh more!
Probably an alloy of some kind, as I believe Reverend noted. Din earned more pure beskar armor through his exploits as well as securing more beskar ignots. So, what was the deal with Jango's armor? Was it supposed to be beskar or partly beskar?
I ask because Obi-Wan both kicks it and gets head-butted, and doesn't seem to suffer any significant ill effects. But in light of The Mandalorian, shouldn't that have been more like kicking Grievous?
I did not get that impression. The head butt seemed pretty nasty. In AOTC it comes off like it's made of hard plastic.
When?we see it deflect blasters.
Which was Boba's, which was Jango's.I'm talking about Jango's armor.
Boba's armour, minus the helmet, is Jango's.I'm talking about Jango's armor.
If we're just talking precedents, then beskar alloy can also deflect blaster bolts as we saw Gideon's Imperial Supercommandos doing just that, and we know it's alloy because they left a fragment of it behind in the prison shuttle. It has a quality of beskar, since we see it deflect blasters. Unclear if it is as good as Din's armor, as we didn't Jango or Boba resisting lightsabers like Din did with Ahsoka. Jango getting beheaded where there is no armor.
D'oh!Which was Boba's, which was Jango's.
Which was Boba's, which was Jango's.
This reminds me of something I've wondered about with the armor. Was the change in color just due to age or did Boba repaint it?Boba's armour, minus the helmet, is Jango's.
Boba blew up the helmet in Clone Wars in a trap for Mace Windu.
