Spoilers The Mandalorian season 2 discussion

This was....perfectly fine. Not great by any stretch, but competent enough. Mostly just table setting for the next episode. Not much to say about it, really. Okay. Moving on...

The weakest episode of the season thus far but still kept my attention all the way through. Uninspiring but it was nice to see that Boba cleaned years of grime and dirt off his armor and now it looks almost as bright and colorful as the old Kenner action figure of himself!

I don’t like Boba’s armour being all nice looking. The weathering gave it character.
It's been in a Sarlacc's gullet, pawed at by Jawas, and lived in by a sweaty daydrinker for half a decade. It probably needed to be sandblasted and acid bathed just to get rid of the smell.
I'm more curious to learn the significance of those colours. By his own admission Boba has no clan or house allegiances, and yet to took the time to not just restore the colours, but repaint both the mythasaur sigil and unit crest, despite the fact that his father left it all bare metal. Something from the unproduced TCW episodes, and/or SW:1313 perhaps?

Just reading an article saying how they felt underwhelmed this how we first see Mando without his helmet.. Yeah, great memory of season 1 there dude!

I was hoping this was gonna be part 1 of a big 2-part finale, but alas. So fingers crossed next week is a much longer episode then, and doesn't end on too big of a cliffhanger, to have to wait a whole year for.

ps. loved seeing* the Attack of the Clones seismic charges again :techman:

*and hearing, great sound effect on those

I thought chapter 15 was awesome. Mayfeld was excellent and I am pretty sure his speech in the transport struck a chord with Din.

Didn't have to kill all those cool pirates though. :ack:

It doesn't seem very tactically sound for The Mandalorian to acquire the location of Moff Gideon's ship, then announce that he's coming, since Gideon can then move the ship somewhere else.

He's also able to put the helmet back on, despite stating in a previous episode, that if someone sees his face he can't put it back on. Unless there's some loophole that allows him to get around this.
I figured Mayfeld's rant about rules only being important until they become inconvenient covered this. Also, a possible loophole is that no living being can see a Mandalorian without their helmet. Since all the Imperials who saw his face are dead and Mayfeld is officially listed as dead now, no one currently living (according to the official record) has seen his face.

At first I was bored with the truck chase because I’m feeling a little chase-overloded for this year. But when that seismic charge went out, I actually applauded.
