I don't disagree but logistically speaking they'd need CGI to de-age Luke. You wouldn't need that with Mace and Ezra can be cast with any actor.
Also, Luke showing up in season 2 seems like blowing the goods too soon. I mean, Luke has to be the ultimate cameo or appearance right? Would they really do that so soon?
This show has the midas touch.
Anyone think Fett is the one who brought Gideon to Grogu? I mean, he tracked Mando just like he tracked the Millennium Falcon to Bespin. As soon as he gets his armor back, Razorcrest gets blasted. He has a history of getting things for Imperial-types who can afford to pay him.
He's certainly not the Fett who bumbled around in ROTJ- more like Jango from AOTC now.

One of Gideon's agents put a tracking device on the Razor Crest a few episodes ago. So no.
I may be misremembering, but didn’t Gideon have a tracker placed on the Crest in the one of the last few episodes?

Still, I wouldn't list Fett among the "good guys"- I think he'll prove treacherous.
I don't think he'll betray him, but once the kid is rescued he'll just leave, with nothing more to say because he fulfilled the deal.

Agreed. He’ll likely be a recurring foil or ally as “needed” in the series, all coming down to the highest bidder.

It's meant to look used and battered. The same armor was shiny and silver until Boba had it repainted for his own use. It went through a lot between the time Boba inherited it and he fell into the Sarlacc Pit.
And George wanted him to have a battered look like, say, an Old West gunslinger or bounty hunter.
I do believe we are approaching peak Star Wars. Good to see ol' Boba Fatt, er, Fett, need to go visit that armorer lady... Great stuff though, at first I was like, 30 minutes? But a lot of good stuff packed in there. They seem to do a good job figuring out who should direct what, all the crazy shooting seemed a good fit for Robert Rodriguez.
The tattered "poncho" is a nice touch there.
