Not really, but it just felt way more real in a more subtle way. Nothing felt like it was meant to jump out but all of it felt more tangible. Were there any places where the 3D was really strong, as in strong visual pop-outs and such?
Seeing this thing in IMAX would have basically meant a road trip I wasn't currently prepared to take, and as of today that option is gone anyway.I've also tried to see films in IMAX (the most "recent" having been Trek09 at the IMAX theater at the Udvar-Hazy A&S Museum when it came out) and I really don't much like that experience either, as the screen is too big for me to take everything in visually. If there's a lot of fast action and motion, I almost feel like I get a bit of tunnel-vision and I start to miss potentially critical visual information. That realization hit me when I got the Trek09 BRD and I saw things on my TV that I don't ever recall seeing in the theater.

one of my eyes extremely near sighted and lazy, so 3D doesn't work for me anymore.
