Admiral Leyton, Admiral Satie, and Admiral Cartwright, for instance.

Must have been sitting behind their desks at Starfleet Command too long.

And there've been a few barking mad captains too. Such as Garth, and Ransom.

Wow, look at all the nuts in the ST universe. Guess they haven't got that mental illness stuff licked yet, eh? My fave is Marta.

Star Trek is certainly filled with its quota of lunatics, and I'm not just talking about Shatner. Some of the 'villains' are not dealing with a full deck. Garth, from TOS....
