I've heard a lot of wonderful things about the book and the trailer here looks very interesting. Besides, I'll watch anything with Rachel Weisz.

The book was one of the most heartbreaking, whimsical, haunting and poignant pieces of literature I've ever read, hyperbolism aside. It really is fantastic. I can't wait to see what Peter Jackson does with this... The trailer looks simply gorgeous.

Looks good. And, is it just me, or has Peter Jackson really slimmed down?

He has really slimmed down. He lost a lot of weight after Return of the King. He also seemed a bit off kilter in that intro video, too. A bit odd. If you ask me, anyway.

He seemed to be expressing something more along the lines of "I'll just film this intro so I can get back to some real work" to me. But I could be projecting.

I couldn't read the book. It was heartbreaking. I think I'll check out the film, though.
