The look out party on Nimbus III?

ElCap?

Ensign
Newbie
In Star Trek V, how exactly did that look out party on Nimbus III get seduced by Uhura's naked fan dance?
I know it was dark and at night but even from a distance, you could see her grey hair so wouldn't the men be like "she's got grey hair, is she old, like middle aged"? They got seduced even when they got close to her and you can see a vein running up her legs, surely they would have seen that as well and they still got seduced, how could anyone get seduced by that?

Right. So no woman over the age of 25 can be attractive? That certainly fits in with Star Trek's vision of the future.

She's naked and she's dancing atop a hill, under a full moon, and you're worried that a group of horny alien men associate grey hair with age? :p

You're assuming their inspection made it to her head.

Besides, did you not see the male to female ratio there? The only women I remember seeing was the cat dancer with the tail and three breasts and the Romulan woman. At that point, the 'type' of most of those men was likely 'female,' regardless of age.

And if most of the folks living on Nimbus look like Sybok's buddy J'onn, Uhura's probably the first well-nourished, non-wrinkly woman they've seen in, like, forever.

While I agree that the OP isn't being fair to women over a certain age, Star Trek's vision of the future usually included hot young broads.
