It's sad that I have little faith in this project given how much I love the Zelda IP and always have.

This is gonna be awful. Zelda: Breath of the Wild was an amazing game, but the story was no the strongest point at all.
Just make a feature length version of this, with Zelda from Echoes of Wisdom completely divorced from consequences

Simplistic outfits are kind of disappointing but overall they got the look. Intriguing enough.
Years ago, when I was a little kid, I didn't play any games other than Pro Evolution Soccer, Football Manager, and GTA 3. So, I'm not familiar with the Zelda series. I don't know much about the games, especially the plot. But since Nintendo and Sony are making the movie together, there's a chance it'll be good.
