I really disliked the Klingons in ENT. I think I could have been onboard with seeing them yet again, but they just never grabbed me in an interesting way. Broken Bow is a good example of this. Decent opening to the series, but boring use of Klingons.

I have always really disliked "Apocalypse Rising." The setting up all the spy tech at the end is embarrassingly awkward and obvioius, the direction of this is terrible. Plot-wise it makes no sense that the Martok changeling would reveal himself when he did (cool visual effect though, with his arm becoming some whip-like extension to strangle Odo). And this episode desperately needed SOME explanation as to why Dax, expert on the Klingons, wasn't going on this crucial mission. I know it's really the behind-the-scenes makeup issues, but give us something in-universe!

I always figured if the station were to come under attack during the mission, having Dax there, being an expert in Klingon tactics and thinking, would be invaluable during such an attack, since Sisko and Worf were needed for the mission. Plus, she can command the Defiant during such an attack if needed.

 

[Seven of Five]

I'll eliminate DS9's Soldier's of the Empire next. I like the idea of Martok not yet having mojo after all that time in captivity. The episode comes across a little dull though, which is a shame.
