The least disliked episode of TOS - Season Two

This is a game that was played here a couple of years ago, and it proved to be a lot of fun, spanning across each Trek series, as well as a great way to mentally revisit those episodes you may not have thought about in a while. With that in mind, why not play again?

So, here's the game. The basic idea is your standard elimination game. I'll provide a list of the episodes for each season and you need to eliminate your least favorite or the one you deem the 'worst.' Please provide an EXPLANATION for why you are eliminating your choice and be sure to copy and paste the list with your choice removed. Finally, leave at least 2 eliminations by other posters before you eliminate another episode.

No tactical voting! You cannot remove an episode because you feel they would threaten your preferred episode's chance to win. Pretty simple. Enjoy!

"The Deadly Years" gives us the superior officer who can't make the right command decision from "A Taste of Armageddon," the disease which causes rapid aging from "Miri," and the court proceedings from "Court Martial" and "The Menagerie." Worse, it can't sustain any of these familiar plot lines for more than twenty minutes, which leads to a turgid pace.

Its a bit jarring the way they plunge into comedic scenes after the brutal way they kill Yeoman Thompson

OK, let's see--I guess for me it's between Friday's Child and A Private Little War--for all intents and purposes, they're basically the same episode--violation of the Prime Directive by using native primitive humanoid species as a proxy for a war against the Klingons. I guess both are a metaphor for Vietnam?

I will have to eliminate A Private Little War on the strength (weakness?) of the moogatoo (sp.?), one of TOS's sillier beasts. Additionally Friday's Child has Julie Newmar (sexiest catwoman), so that's in its favor for non-elimination vs. Private. Moogatoo vs. Catwoman, not a very tough decision is it?
