"Time's Arrow" was OK but a little too implausible, especially Data annoyingly not realizing that Guinan doesn't recognize him.

I'll be honest, I've never cared for "The Inner Light." I don't find it very exciting or interesting as a Star Trek episode, but I know many people consider it among their favorites.

This season winner was a complete surprise. To me anyway.

Is it? Cause and Effect is awesome. Vintage Braga before he got derivative.

I remember when Cause and Effect came out, how very interesting it was. Then a year later we had Groundhog Day and there have been so many stories since of time being repeated, that it isn't as novel anymore.

That being said, I was still very surprised. Cause and Effect was a great episode, but I would never myself think it was one of the best. I cannot believe it beat The Inner Light, which is commonly in the Top 5 lists of Star Trek episodes.

The Inner Light is good but I'm more surprised it beat Darmok. I prefer Cause And Effect to Inner Light if I'm honest.

More interesting, yes, I can see that. Still too many variables, people eliminating in different orders could have left "Imaginary Friend" as the winner. Still, I admit, it is fun. When is season 6 coming up?

I was hoping "The Inner Light" would win but glad the winner was "Cause and Effect" rather than "Darmok" (too little payoff/resolution after all the build-up).
