The least disliked episode of DS9 - Season Three

This is a game that was played here a couple of years ago, and it proved to be a lot of fun, spanning across each Trek series, as well as a great way to mentally revisit those episodes you may not have thought about in a while. With that in mind, why not play again?

So, here's the game. The basic idea is your standard elimination game. I'll provide a list of the episodes for each season and you need to eliminate your least favorite or the one you deem the 'worst.' Please provide an EXPLANATION for why you are eliminating your choice and be sure to copy and paste the list with your choice removed. Finally, leave at least 2 eliminations by other posters before you eliminate another episode.

No tactical voting! You cannot remove an episode because you feel they would threaten your preferred episode's chance to win. Pretty simple. Enjoy!

A ton of good episodes in s3 but also plenty of skip episodes.

I'll eliminate Life Support. Prophet Motive and both the Trill episodes are awfully tempting too. I feel like the whole circumstance in Life Support was extremely contrived and the whole Terri Schiavo debate came off as 'Religion without religion'. And come to think of it, why was the decision about Bareil all about Bashir's secular-spiritual take instead of the Bajoran religious take? He was a freaking Vedek.

It was a very, very bad season for Dax episodes. If I have another opportunity to eliminate and any of them are still around I will destroy them.

I'll knock off Explorers. Cardassian ships launching fireworks to commemorate the successful flight (and to correct history) was hokey. I liked the Bashir/O'Brien relationship, but the Bashir/Lense thing was out of a sitcom. I wish the show hadn't kept bringing up the 'preganglionic fiber / postganglionic nerve' thing.

I chose to off Defiant for the lame way they ended Thomas Riker's story. Bleeh. Though I guess it's interesting that one could jump the implication that the more well known Riker would do something similar if in the same situation and it was an exciting episode.
