Gonna knock off the Siege of AR-558... great story, but the tactics here were horrible. Too bad they didn't have those wide beam phasers like they had in TOS... and earlier in TNG. That'd have won in about five seconds. Or heck, one of those transporter rifles from field of fire.. or primitive 20th century artillery... ;)

    Strange Bedfellows
    The Changing Face of Evil

Tough but it's got to be "The Changing Face of Evil". Not a bad episode but I think it's one of the weakest ones of those that are left.

I eliminate Dogs of War. It seemed a little like a connector to the finale to me, and I really hate the Grand Nagus Rom thing.

I'm knocking out Strange Bedfellows - it's actually one of the key episodes of the finale arc since this is where Damar turns. BUT..... it also has bickering between Ezri and Worf, so goodbye.

That's exactly what it was. What You Leave Behind didn't have room to fit the Ferengi story, so they wrapped it up an episode early.

Oh this is hard... I'm gonna have to eliminate When it Rains... more of a transitional episode in that great arc than anything else. Good episode, but doesn't have the power of the rest.

Ouch, but I've got to eliminate "Treachery..." and it's case of very little to seperate them.

Tacking into the Wind, buh bye. Good episode, but none of the lead-ups can compare to the excellent finale.

What You Leave Behind is the well-deserved winner! The first and last episodes were each among the show's greatest. No other Trek show can claim that.

Wasn't expecting that. Wasn't expecting anything, but definitely didn't think that would win, what with the constant crying about the Pah-wraith part. Maybe that's just the non-Niner parts of the board.

I'm a big fan of DS9 who actually prefers the religious and political -centric episodes.

I would have easily picked Tackling Into The Wind over What You Leave Behind, but both are very strong episodes.

Well many episodes have good parts and some not so good parts, but it's what is the episode overall that counts. Some of the political centric episodes were good some were bad, same for the religious ones. At least they were trying to do something a bit different at times for DSN rather than more of what we've had before in TOS and TNG.
