The Least Disliked Episode 2025 - VOY Season 7

So, here's the game. The basic idea is your standard elimination game. I'll provide a list of the episodes for each season and you need to eliminate your least favourite or the one you deem the 'worst.' Please provide an EXPLANATION for why you are eliminating your choice and be sure to copy and paste the list with your choice removed. Finally, leave at least 2 eliminations by other posters before you eliminate another episode.

No tactical voting! You cannot remove an episode just because you feel it would threaten your preferred episode's chance to win.
Pretty simple. Enjoy! :bolian:

Ugh, this is one rough season.

"Inside Man" doesn't work at all. Everything that happens in this episode is either unbelievable, annoying, or both.

Endgame is a very disappointing finale.

They should have been getting home much earlier than they did so we could actually see the crew interact with their families.

Also the last thing they should have done was have the Borg involved.

"Friendship One" was depressing and discouraging, and the "moral" Janeway draws at the end suggests no one should ever venture into space at all, which is bizarre coming from her. Also, to bring Carey back just to kill him?!? WTF?

Oh, and also not only that B'Elanna's okay with risking her child experiencing high radiation levels (which would have happened, since the folks who did go didn't get off-planet in time) because she's bored, but also that her higher-ups won't tell her "no" because they don't want to anger her? What wieners!

"Natural Law" is so phoned-in it's embarrassing. There's just nothing to this story. Everyone had clearly already checked out.

Unimatrix Zero concludes the poor cliffhanger with an even poorer episode.

Assimilation used to be feared back in the day, but the crew are embracing it like they know they will be fine.

"UNIMATRIX ZERO PART II" is out.

Just like the first part, this completely destroys the Borg as any kind of real danger, turns the terror and horror of assimilation into nothing, and is a slap in the face of Seven and Picard's trauma they suffered as Borg. The only improvement from the first part is it didn't have to remind us Kim is still an ensign with his boxless chair comment.

Okay, I got ninjaed for the same reason.

So taking out "Q2".

This waa just a bad episode, and the worst appearance of Q in the franchise... until most of PICARD season 2.

While I desperately wanted to kill that one myself, I take comfort in it being the first to die.

Taking out "Repentance". I get its point, but it was essentially the VOY crew not having the balls to prevent what was essentially a lynch mob execution.

I think the reason we didn't get that wedding was because we saw their duplicates marry in "COURSE: OBLIVION". Considering that crew was very much like them, I can see why the producers may have felt doing it again was unnecessary. (Not that I agree with the decision, but I can understand it.)

"WORKFORCE" is laid off from this list.

This was just a useless two-parter for the series' final year.

Renaissance Man is a bit of a random comedy placed right before the finale.

Probably would have fit better during another season.

Taking out "REPRESSION".

This seems to be two episodes merged into one, which is why it feels disjointed a little over halfway through. Started off as a good mystery and investigation, but then turned into... a Maquis mutiny?

In season SEVEN?

FAR, FAR too late in the show to do this.

Klingons turning up in the Delta Quadrant in Prophecy is the latest in a long list of crap that shouldn't turn up there.

It wouldn't be so bad if the episode had an ounce of originality.

Agreed. The one wedding on Voyager, a ship that should have had a dozen couples marry and started to go generational, and the flagship romance... reduced to an afterthought.
This was just a useless two-parter for the series' final year.
And it squandered the opportunity for Chakotay to actually accomplish something.
