Our addictive biyearly game of rapid elimination returns - now with more shows than ever. It's generally a lot of fun, providing a chance to mentally revisit those episodes you may not have thought about in a while. With that in mind, why not play again?

So, here's the game. The basic idea is your standard elimination game. I'll provide a list of the episodes for each season and you need to eliminate your least favourite or the one you deem the 'worst.' Please provide an EXPLANATION for why you are eliminating your choice and be sure to copy and paste the list with your choice removed. Finally, leave at least 2 eliminations by other posters before you eliminate another episode.

No tactical voting! You cannot remove an episode just because you feel it would threaten your preferred episode's chance to win. Pretty simple. Enjoy!

Goodbye to The Elysian Kingdom but I refrain from calling it 'worst'.

Overall, I generally dislike the 'Ship's interior and crew transformed into Fantasy character' type plots and stories in Star Trek so for myself it was the SNW S1 episode I liiked the least, even if I did like many of the actors performances in it.

I'm killing The Serene Squall. Cast and crew clearly thought this one was delightful, but I found it unfunny and tedious. (It's also Jammer's lowest-rated episode of the first season, a ranking I agree with.)

I'm going to vanquish All Those Who Wander. I get why it was done but I dislike Hemmer dying and this episode set off the confusion and debate about the Gorn which to this day is still a question mark.

Lift Us Where We Cannot Reach is easily the dullest episode left.

The absolute weakest episodes are gone so I'm going to whack Ghosts of Illyria, entirely because I don't give a toss about the Federation ban on genetic whatever. Didn't interest me in DS9, doesn't interest me here.

I really like Ghosts of Ilyria but then I also really liked Elysian and Serene Squall but hey such is the fun of the game.

I feel Children of the Comet is the weakest of the remaining crop. It's still a perfectly good episode, not bad by any metric.

I'm going to knock Spock Amok out of the running. It was fun, and nice to see Spock and T'Pring gaining an appreciation for the other's job, but I don't think it was as good as the remaining episodes.

I'm a little late, and am sad that "The Elysian Kingdom" was the first to go. (Easily top 3 of the season, and possibly the entire series.)

I'll take out the pilot, "Strange New Worlds". I like the other two more.

Well the winner just has to be A Quality of Mercy. If I didnt declare it so someone else would. I feel it wont surprise anyone it took the crown.
