The least disliked episode 2021 - DS9 Season Seven

Inter Arma Enim Silent Leges - overrated.

Treachery, Faith, and the Great River
Til Death Do Us Part
Strange Bedfellows
The Changing Face of Evil
When It Rains...
Dogs of War
What You Leave Behind

Til Death Do Us Part is decent enough as part of the final arc, but it's one of the weakest ones remaining looking at it by itself.

Treachery, Faith, and the Great River
Strange Bedfellows
The Changing Face of Evil
When It Rains...
Dogs of War
What You Leave Behind

"Treachery, Faith, and the Great River" .... Odo is a god and Nog is a master trader...

You lend him an old truck and he comes back with a limousine...

This raises one question though: How were they able to escape in a runabout in "By Inferno's Light" given that the Jem ships can literally fly circles around them?

Maybe the Jem'Hadar have a standing order to let DS9 runabouts escape if the alternative is destroying them in case Odo is on board.

I remove What you leave Behind. I didn't like how the war ended just like that and how they squeezed the resolution to the Winn/Dukat/Pah Wraiths plot in at the end, the pacing felt off. And while I wasn't a fan of the Kira/Odo relationship the way it ended was also weird, he pines for her all these years and he's like "Goodbye forever, don't come visiting me"

"Take Me Out to the Holosuite" is taken out... of the list. Because it doesn't make sense that a responsible grown-up be so upset by the taunting of another. It's character assassination, it shows that apparently deep down Sisko is still a kid. The Vulcan is caricatural. Vulcans are supposed to be above that kind of stuff. Hell, normal adults are supposed to be above that!!!

Plus the episode is boring and the ending is stupid. So they pretend that they won and taunt the taunter...

All this nonsense so that Sisko and crew could basically say: "Same to you!".

^^this

All I remember of it were:

* cost cutting use via a real and equally empty baseball stadium
* Vulcans being illogically emotional for no reason other than what you said - caricaturing and (possibly unintentional) character assassination
* it's the "jump the shark" episode, but thankfully it's in the final season

Removing Changing Face Of Evil.

The whole Dukat/Winn plot just didn’t work.

Removing "Strange Bedfellows"... The image of Winn and Dukat in bed together will haunt me forever.:ack:

I'll make The Dogs of War the winner. I liked the way all the plot threads were starting to wrap up. Mostly, it's just more memorable than When It Rains for me.

No reason to hang around until tomorrow - I'll get the Final Rounds posted shortly. Thanks for playing as always, everyone!

Might it mean someone else has? He was in disagreement with at least one of the moderators.

3000+ posts, it's inevitable that you're going to piss someone off, and some of the mods here get triggered pretty easily.

Is that so? :vulcan:
