Sorry. I just realized that Leslie was eliminated prior to my previous illegitimate post.

Voting for Angela Martine because she made one appearance and that's just not enough to keep her on the list with the remaining recurring characters. Furthermore, there was some very "1960's gender inequality" vibes coming from how she was characterised.

She is in Balance of Terror and Shore Leave. I also remember seeing someone who looks like her on the bridge in one later episode but her name is not mentioned. One thing that bothers me is that BoT and Shore Leave basically aired back to back even though they were filmed weeks apart. So we have Angela mourning for her lost husband in one episode, then happily going about her business in the next. It's a little awkward. Nevertheless I love her scene with Kirk at the end of BoT.

Yeah, I forgot she was also in "Shore Leave". Still, she isn't in enough episodes to justify her remaining on the list. Most of the female Enterprise officers - save for Uhura and Chapel (and they still suffered with it occasionly) were characterised with you're typical 1960's female stereotyping. I'm not a fan of that.

LOL. All right I will take out Sulu then. I genuinely dislike Sulu.

And I genuinely don't like Spock that much. So maybe my next vote will be honest.

I don't mean to sound all "RAW THIS IS MY GAME MY RULES!" but you understand, if you had taken out Spock to save McCoy what's to stop someone taking out McCoy in retaliation? And so on.

Taking out Kyle. Good showing for a red shirt, but hardly enough to make him as much of a real 'character' as the rest on the list.

I finally got my chance. Perhaps I have been TOLD to act more like Spock too many times so now I can't stand Spock. Kidding. His character often appears annoyingly condescending, that's the main problem I have with him. Sometimes his voice drives me to sleep, even though his words are intelligent and his message important. I do like his interactions with Kirk and Bones.

I understand. However I bet everybody likes McCoy.

Erm, why did Kirk go so early? And Spock was robbed! But I like McCoy too I suppose.

I was always a fan of Riley, he had more personality in his two appearances than some of the others did in more.
