The least disliked character of Star Trek

Okay Trek fans, the episode and movie versions proved very popular, and here's the beginning of the character contest. The basic idea is your standard elimination game. I'll provide a list of main and some recurring characters and you need to eliminate your least favorite or the one you deem the 'worst.' Please provide an EXPLANATION for why you are eliminating your choice and be sure to copy and paste the list with your choice removed. Finally, leave at least 2 eliminations before you eliminate another one. Not a very accurate way of determining the best character, but a fun game nonetheless. Pretty simple. Enjoy!

I've included recurring characters, ie characters who appeared in multiple episodes. Believe me, I'd love to include guys like Khan, but then we may as well include every character of every episode... ever.

I'd give Chekov the old heave ho into the deep space nine. I always thought the character was very shallow. I also didn't like Koenig's hokey Russian accent, plus his hair comb over was really bad. Bye Pavel. Go back to the USSR.

Send me to Classic Trek Hell, but yes, I voted for Kirk. There are about 67 reasons why, but worst of them was permanently rigging the 3rd season beamdown team for himself and his two buddies. So due to his predictability and boredon, Kirk is out. Yessss!!

Harry Mudd, I can't stand him and I always thought the actor was terribly overacting - yes, even for the 1960s TV standards - and he wasn't nearly as funny as he's supposed to be. Plus I hate "Mudd's Women". "I' Mudd" is better, but only due to the dadaism of the last 10 minutes, nothing to do with him really.

Voting for Angela Martine because she made one appearance and that's just not enough to keep her on the list with the remaining recurring characters. Furthermore, there was some very "1960's gender inequality" vibes coming from how she was characterised.
