The Least Disliked Cardassian Episode

But that wormhole is an artifically created one by the Prophets. Could that make the difference?

Well, As I said the theory says that to keep a wormhole wide open you need negative energy. Maybe the Prophets have found a permanent source of negative energy."Negative energy" would also allow time-travel.

I'll eliminate Tacking Into The Wind just to be a little different to the DS9 round. ;) Also, it's up against Call to Arms, which was the best season ender that DS9 did.

DS9 Season 3: "Improbable Cause"
DS9 Season 5: "In Purgatory's Shadow"
DS9 Season 5: "Call To Arms"

DS9 Season 5: "Call To Arms" is a little less of a Cardassian story than the two others.

DS9 Season 3: "Improbable Cause"
DS9 Season 5: "In Purgatory's Shadow"

I guess it comes down to my vote.

Both episodes are excellent, not surprising considering Garak is front and center for both.

"IN PURGATORY'S SHADOW" has more Cardassians in it than "IMPROBABLE CAUSE" so it has a bit more variety of them, but it doesn't quite get into the psychology like the latter does. Plus it has the benefit of being a very well done mystery. But it doesn't quite build the tension like seeing the Dominion fleet coming through the wormhole.

Honestly, I am deadlocked on this, so I had to resort to the dartboard again. And the winner of this game is... "IMPROBABLE CAUSE"!

I was rooting for "Call To Arms", but "Improbable Cause" is also a worthy winner!

Thanks for playing all! "The Least Disliked Maquis Episode" will be posted shortly...
