I will kick the last non-DS9 item on this list. "The Wounded", like "Ensign Ro", is another one of those where I like what it gives us more than the actual episode itself. There's a couple things in "The Wounded" that bug me... Maxwell's ship seems weirdly unpopulated. Some of the messaging around O'Brien's PTSD/racism is overly simplistic. The Cardassians themselves aren't yet fully realized. And I don't love that "here's a major war we were just in that was never mentioned!" move. Real wormholes are not made of matter so they can't be affected by explosions. In order to open them (since in their native state they're less than one atom wide, IE very small) you need negative energy, which so far we are unable to produce.
