^Why? He just sounds like an average 2000AD fan to me. Why should he give a shite what Sly thinks? Not that I expect him to really disagree with Urban, he's been pretty straight up about his own dissatisfaction with the '94 film.

I have to give the slow motion bit some credit. I don't think I've ever seen it used for gore like that before. The helmet still looks 3 sizes too big.

the helmet is fine - it's Urban's chin that just isn't up to the job...

Well there's only two ways around that: either use prosthetics and have it look very silly, or hire Bruce Campbell and...well, there's not really a down side to that one, is there?

It does look a little odd having Dredd stood atop a building as if he's some superhero. I mean it's well done an everything but it's rather lacking in imagination. I'd even go so far as to say it's almost a parody of modern action movie posters.

I wondered when they were going to start the viral campaign. Honestly though I expected them to start this much much earlier. Like *before* they'd already released the trailer.

I saw the trailer in the cinema and it looks really good. The movie doesn't look to be low-budget by any means, the visuals were quite impressive.

If I had one gripe, it's that it doesn't quite seem to have the requisite black humour but maybe the film itself will have more of that; perhaps they don't want audiences to think this is a piss-take.
