The late Robert Urich should've been a Deep Space 9 Special Guest Star

Aquehonga

Fleet Captain
As an old friend of Ben Sisko's:techman:

That would've been really

But that never happened unfortunately:mad:

Years later ENT avoided that very mistake, yet blew it by having Dean Spockwell playing an utterly forgettable alien military baddie Herbert dude:wtf: Duhhh!! Have Spockwell play an old pal of Sa-, er, Jonathan's & have BOTH Count Bakula's Archer & Spockwell's character refer to a mutual friend named Ziggy.

Back to topic, Robert Urich should've been on DS9 in a Special Guest Role.

Robert Urich should've played Admiral Ross, but I don't know if he would've been, or was, healthy enough to have taken the role anyway. This is assuming he would've wanted the role if offered it.

I think B&B missed a  more-than-appropriate Special Guest Star here.

What do YOU think?

And who do YOU think Robert Urich should've played had he been a Special Guest Star?

Actually, I would have liked this too. It would have been a great in-joke. Sorta like how they gave David Boreanaz a line on Bones that went something like "There is no such thing as vampires".

I love it when they do stuff like that.

Funny you should mention Robert Urich.

There has been a sudden 'Spenser for Hire' interest with the boyfriend...
