Disney/Buena Vista has four of the top ten movies of 2017. Their total box office domestic take for last year is $2,410,448,444 (with seven releases in 2017 and five carry-overs from 2016.) That's a 19.5% drop from 2016, which certainly is significant, but remember that a big part of TFA's money ($284.7 mil) came in in 2016. There were more releases in 2016 (13 to 2017's 8). Not to mention Finding Dory was released in 2016, which was another fairly large win for D/BV. I think that stockholders are going to be okay with those numbers.
With Solo and Avengers: Infinity War, 2018 should be huge for them.
