Nimoy's Spock is number 1, of course, but of the new boys, Quinto's Spock would be first, I think, but very closely followed by Urban's McCoy and Greenwood's Pike.

Urban as McCoy just blew me away, BTW. I was expecting Quinto and Greenwood to be delish, and they were, oh my. But I had very carefully avoided most of the spoilers before going to see the movie, and so while I knew Urban was in it, I hadn't really thought about what kind of McCoy he was going to be. I practically had to fan myself. Golly. I was expecting that with Quinto and Greenwood, and I was not disappointed, but Urban came as a very pleasant shock.

Nuthin' against Pine, BTW - he just had a lot of competition.

After all, the guy's pretty much just taken over Heroes, so why not Star Trek too? (To better effect, I would imagine - much better character!)

I was entranced by Quinto's Spock, I couldn't imagine anyone coming within shouting distance of Nimoy's Spock - so glad to be wrong! The big surprise was Karl Urban! So wonderful to be surprised by him too! Pine just makes me feel old and dirty.

A frame that 10 years ago would have the ladies laughing at you, today has the ladies drooling.

Having a nice face of course always helps too.

I started watching re-runs of TOS in the early 1970's and McCoy and Scotty were my teen girl crushes at that time.

I was Kirk's girl until TMP. I couldn't get over the hair. Lately I've developed a thing for guys with shaved heads. Weird. I saw a photo of Eric Bana and it didn't do anything for me. Nero and Robau on the other hand...

I never realized I have a hair fetish but it would explain how Shatner's "new hair" could turn me off so completely...
