Bob Baker doesn't own the rights to K-9's physical appearance, since that was done by a BBC designer, just the concept of K-9. Presumably the makers of K-9 had to negotiate for the little they did make use of.Why bring back the "real" k-9 for the proper series, then give the kids a shitty "texta" version? i am sure they would recognise the real k-9 better...

^Exactly! Only what airs on the Doctor Who series is "canon"...

Nope not me, though wish it was!Doesn't look to bad... but the show seems a tad redundant and almost looks like it's designed to compete with Sarah Jane, when in my opinion it would have been better if they could have integrated it with Sarah Jane. I could even stand the new CGI dog in that show instead, as long as K9 wasn't a deus ex machina at the end of every episode.
