I gotta agree with IJD about "You Know My Name." Those first eight notes hooked me right away, and I love the whole song. It helps that I like Chris Cornell, and that the song is probably closer to my own musical preference than any other Bond theme. Oh, I finally heard k.d. lang's "Surrender," and it is far, far superior to Sheryl Crow's song, which doesn't even match the musical motifs layered throughout the movie (like "Surrender" does). Oh well...

This thread makes me think about the upcoming theme for Quantum of Solace, "Another Way to Die" by Jack White and Alicia Keys. They're both fantastic musicians, and I think we're in for another great Bond theme to go along with another great Bond movie.

I always thought the hook to LALD sounded fantastic as used in the film. But as I noted in the ranking thread, catching that film on TV was my virgin Bond experience, so I've always associated that theme with him.

"Nobody Does It Better"--For me it's just the iconic Bond song and title sequence. My favorite single artist ever is Paul McCartney, but as Bond tunes go, I think Carly does it just a bit better.

"Goldfinger"--Certainly a classic, but very low on the "crank it up on the car stereo" scale. There is a bitchin' twangy-guitar-laden instrumental version that was used a lot in the DVD menus. Can anyone confirm for me if that's on the soundtrack album? I'd buy the entire CD just for that piece. (I tried looking for it on iTunes, but they didn't have it.)

Just to clarify my position on Goldfinger as well, I think the song itself is actually sorta corny. But again, it's those first notes with the big brass that grabs me on that song. It just screams Goldfinger -- as in the character. Those five notes are just so damned iconic that it overshadows the cheesy, biographical song that follows.
