while I don't have any first hand knowledge, in my estimation it's all cg. 1. that's a very short shot to go to the trouble to get a real chimp. 2. It's expensive to erase someone's head feet and hands and build the clothes in behind. They would only do the chimp-less commercial if all they had to do was re-render that scene with only the clothing layer turned on.
