The Interpretation of Dreams Thread™!

I wonder how many Losties really are playing those numbers. :D

I had a weird fragment of a dream last night. Someone had drawn me a bath complete with bubbles, bath oil, and little candles lining the side of the tub. It was just a really nice thing, and I was so surprised when I walked into the bathroom and found it all set up for me.

And then I woke up. :scream:

I'll help refresh your memory:

;)

Actually had another dream about winning the lottery...it was real fast paced and I don't remember it all that well. Part of the dream I was walking around my beach house I had bought. :(

I wish it would come true.

I keep dreaming I'm back in school and I'm either late for something or failing some crazy easy class. It's so realistic that I'm actually waking up worried before realizing I'm out of school.

Oh, I hate those dreams! I keep having one where I'm late for class but have to get a book from my locker. Unfortunately, I can never remember the locker combination!

I had another interesting false awakening this morning. I'd left my windows open overnight and made a mental note to shut them in the morning. Sure enough, I found myself getting out of bed and crossing the room, but I noticed that the room was clean. All those clothes that I'd dumped on the floor were gone -- because it was a dream!

I had a dream about this house in Hawaii...and being on the beach where it is located...it felt real and the ocean looked so beautiful. I use to have a lot of dreams about being on a beautiful beach...the strange thing about this dream was an ex-girlfriend was in the house and she was singing about having sex with her female cousin...she is a lesbian...but that is a bit strange.

It means that you have a split personality. When you are asleep, this second persona is in control and is yearning to be free. This second personality is...

MADBAGGINS!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

LOL! The dream seemed to reflect peace and ttanquility, which you probably seek in your waking life. I don't know about the lesbian ex, though

I used to do guided relaxation quite frequently in my younger days and often envisioned myself living alone in an old house near the beach. I could just spend hours walking barefoot in the sand, listening to the waves and the seagulls. Ahhh, what a tranquil feeling!

I always loved the beach and I wish I was there now. As for the ex-girlfriend...I loved her and she was always the type of girl I wanted and being young and stupid never showed her that and then she became a lesbian and all hope was lost. :(

I was having another one of those "false awakenings" dreams before I woke up this morning. I don't remember the exact details, but it had something to do with me and a group of people (strangers, co-workers, former classmates, I dunno). We were somehow stranded on an island, kinda like what happened on LOST, and we each compared ourselves to the characters. "So-and-so is like Hurley ... Jack ... Kate ..."

Then I would wake up and tell my friends/co-workers about the dream I just had, but it was different from what I remembered.

Thinking I was awake, I'd tell another group of people about the dream, and it was more like a different dream with different "roles" or characters.

Strange. Sometimes I wonder what the heck I ate for dinner the previous night to have these bizarro dreams.

I've noticed that my false awakenings happen more often when I'm intent on remembering something in the morning: remembering to shut a window, remembering to write down my dream in journal, remembering to check my phone for any messages.

Today I had a dream about Elizabeth Mitchell and Superman looking at vials of blood...some human and some kryptonian...Elizabeth seemed to know the people behind human blood samples and Superman was just reading the names on the kryptonian blood vials...he was very cold and a contrast to Elizabeth who seemed to have fond memories of the people's blood she was looking at...why they were doing this??? It seemed they were going to send it somewhere in a space ship that looked like Clark's ship on Smallville...while I was sleeping it was storming and sound like a war was going on in the dream...like outside whatever structure they were in. I could faintly hear LDN by Lily Allen in the back ground...even though nothing was playing while I was asleep...must have been from memory. Pretty strange dream.

Ah, a sci-fi dream. I like that.

I remember a sexy dream I had over the weekend. Oh, my! I dreamt about a fellow employee who works in another department. He's an engineer, a Filipino/Hispanic guy in his late 20s, though we're not really acquainted. I believe his name is Alejandro (I kid you not). Anyway, in this dream, Alejandro and I met at a restaurant or retail store where he was an employee. It appeared that he was flirting with me, and I mustve flirted back. When I left the establishment, Alejandro left me a plastic bag with some items in it, including a pair of yellow mid-rise briefs with a black waistband, Calvin Klein brand. The underwear was Alejandro's, and this was a way of telling me he wanted to get intimate, and I remember feeling very excited.

The dream continued with me carrying on a casual conversation with my crush, the handsome Armenian guy who also works in another department and with whom I'm barely acquainted. It felt so natural as if I actually knew him in person.

I had a dream about the beach and this beach house I have been looking at.

I start out in the ocean and this big wave is coming over top of me...I felt at peace though...after it came down I swam up...by the way the water was so clear and this light color blue...perfect...I am swimming along and I finally start swimming toward the beach...I get to where I can walk and I am walking out the water...it felt great...I got excited celebrated how great it was  I walk along the beach going to my beach house and some girls stop me...they looked in their 20's...they asked me if I lived near by and could they use my bathroom...I said sure and they fallowed me to my beach house...all this felt real...we get to the house and they comment on how awesome it is and how nice the pool is...we go inside and one goes to the bathroom and the other mentioned she is hungry...so I order a pizza...while we waited for the pizza...they asked me a bunch of questions...most of which I don't remember...when the pizza arrived I went to open the door and woke up. Parts of the dream felt strange the more I got into it but it was a pleasant dream.

Well, I'm very pleased to hear that. :) Sometimes our dreams may be a reflection of what we want in our waking lives, so don't hesitate to go out and have a little fun, travel, go on vacation, etc.

So here is a bit of weird carryover into the dream world. I'm dog-sitting for a friend and was getting worried that one dog did not seem to be drinking any water. I bent over backwards putting extra water bowls around the house and even led her right to the one in my bedroom, but she still refused to drink.

That night, I seemed to have another one of my false awakenings, where I "woke" up to hear one of the dogs noisily drinking water. When she was done, she jumped up on the bed and I went to snuggle her. That's when I realized that it wasn't a dog but a raccoon! It was hissing at me, and its fur was all stiff, not soft like the dogs. It was pretty freaky and woke me up right away.

As a footnote, the dog I was worried about has been drinking water without a problem and is doing just fine.

Okay here's a weird one...

I was either in a mall or a school-somewhere. I was just walking down a corridor, and I see this woman, she's pretty, but not like supermodel type. The the huge mob of people comes through the corridor. The noise is deafening, and they are all just keep coming. It felt like the old expression, 'a fish going upstream'. Somehow thorugh the crowd, I notice they have knocked the woman over. I make my way to her, and help her up. She seems a bit unsteady, so I hold on to her to keep her from falling down again and being trampled. Still, there is just a sea of people around us. I pull her tight to me to keep her from falling away, and she clings to me even tighter. She then kisses me softly on the cheek.

And I wake up. Any thoughts on what that could mean?
