Lost did a pretty good job of using Honolulu for LA.
Yeah, but if the whole series had been set in LA, rather than just a few flashbacks, they probably wouldn't have filmed it in Hawai'i. Because that would be a monumental waste of Hawai'i.

Good point. Where is Attilan usually located in the comics, or at least originally since I think it's moved around some? I'm wondering if it's out in the Pacific in this version, and they end up in Hawaii because it's the closest civilized place for them to go.Yeah, but if the whole series had been set in LA, rather than just a few flashbacks, they probably wouldn't have filmed it in Hawai'i. EW seems to consistently have terrible photos. Aside from Medusa, I'm OK with these, but that one looks bad. I think the biggest concern I have is this is on IMAX, so it needs to look high quality....Oh dear. I hope that's just an unflattering photo, but everything about that looks really cheap. Like Smallville bare minimum effort cheap.
This is just a rough, practical image without any touch-ups.
Fuzzily, but yes.Tales of the Gold Monkey (anyone remember that?)
It's very awkward that they decided to make the character that was half-animal black.
Here's the Marvel Comics Database (wiki) page on the House of Agon aka The Inhuman Royal Family. Are they like a long-lived species? Or are they like regular aged people for how they look? If so, have they only been on the moon for like a generation or have they been on the moon for several? Please forgive the string of questions, I'm just really curious how that fits with the Inhuman mythos that AoS has created. Would Jiaying and her Inhumans have acknowledged them as their royal family and follow them, for instance?
