Spoilers The Imperial Thread

I have vague memories of seeing Micro Machines boxes done up like Star Wars novel covers in the toy stores when I was a kid, though I don't think I ever got any.

Live and learn. I recall at least three, and that's how I first learned about Mara Jade, as I hadn't read that novel yet and wasn't inclined to do so.

Here's a picture of all three found online. I do vaguely remember the 'burnt paper' interior on a product before, but I don't believe I had any of these figures.

I wonder if that's the only Admiral Daala merch

Also why is she wearing green

I had a handful of Micromachine as kid, but I think they made have been bought used, because looking at what was sold back in the name, I never had a whole collection just an assortment of figures from various collections.

Edit: I just found out they actually did 6 of these. I wonder if they planned to do 7 or 9. Because it seems odd to only do the first 2 books of the Thrawn and Jedi Academy trilogies

I had the Bakura one (I thought the Flurry was cool because of the Essential Vehicles and Vessels; I guess someone else did, too, since it made the hop into Rebels and Squadrons). If Jedi Knight II had come a few years earlier, I might've gotten Heir to the Empire, too, for the Lady Luck, but that game was a couple years past my peak Micro Machines age. I don't remember seeing the latter three sets, maybe they were only planned, or released in limited numbers near the end of the license like the last couple Star Trek Micro Machines sets.

I had a bunch of the action fleet vehicles. I remember my dad buying them for me off eBay

There was a flood at one point and that was used that as an excuse to throw out a bunch of things. I was asked to pick out toys I wanted to keep, but I was too lazy and also distracted by video games at that point, so I just said throw everything out.

I regret that now lol.

I still somehow have R5 from the Gold Leader Y-Wing, the silver droid that came with the Sandcrawler, a Snowtrooper from the AT-AT and Lobot from the Cloud Car. I'm going to guess they just weren't in my toybox when it was thrown out.

I also had a C-3PO head that opened to show the Cantina, I still have the Duros figure from it.
