The Imperial Palace Ship...

BTW, nothing we have seen so far would signify MU has their own universe specific designs. So there must another just like it in the PU. Wonder what that one is used for.

We've seen the Mirror Universe had no Defiant Class but does have a much larger version of the Negh'var.

Honestly I think it’s a captured Planet Killer they somehow repurposed

There's no reason the Federation would build such a monstrosity (about the closest they got was the Dreadnought Class USS Vengeance, and that was just in the Kelvinverse, which has it's own in-universe reasons for bigger and badder ships). The MU uses similar ships for production simplicity and audience familiarity, and probably some in-universe handwavium about destiny and the two universes always trying to course correct back toward a shared reality, but it doesn't have to be a perfect one-to-one transfer of every piece of tech or starship or person. The aforementioned Defiant Class and Negh'Var for example.

Wedding gift for Mudd and Stella from Stella's father, the arms dealer.

Season 2:
Mudd (holographic communication): "I'm back with a vengeance and a ship that will decimate the callous Federation for ignoring the little guy and... Where's Lorca?"
Burnham: "Turns out he was evil."
Mudd: "Psshaw. I coulda told you that. Well, since there's no reason for me to be here, I guess I'll be on my way..."

I'm just waiting for the heads to start exploding when the Emperor calls it a "Galaxy Class"
Turn the sun off in the middle and its the invador ships from "The Powers of Matthew Star"

I'm going to hate myself a little for posting this

I'd forgotten about the weapon sound effects rather blatantly ripped off from Star Wars. :rommie:

John Eaves said that is a star in the middle, a tiny one. Though he may have been being coy.
He also said there is a backstory behind the design, but isn't allowed to tell it.

It could have been captured early Romulan experiments into the artificial singularity power systems, or for all we know this could be the power core of a First Federation ship - I seem to recall, didn't one of the Shatner mirror-verse novels have Balok stuffed and in a trophy cabinet?

"..unless I can interest some of you in wives."
