In that case his creations would have, on some level, a form consciousness and an ability to sense the actions of others. The big thing is that the "Husnock" ship matched the Enterprises acceleration curve to keep just out of weapons range. It had to know the exact moment the ship would increase speed so it could as well. It also had to be sure that it didn't so far outrun the Enterprise that our heroes wouldn't just give up right away.

It is possible that Uxbridge would have to actively "look" for things in space, and that's why the Enterprise was able to just sit in high orbit and wait him out. If that were the case, that "sight" would have to be one that is instantaneous and cover, at least, all of intra-galactic space. Otherwise he couldn't have killed ALL the Husnock, as he said, in a moment.

I just don't buy the idea that he didn't "look" to see if the Enterprise left or look again to see if it returned. (I don't remember if, after destroying the "Husnock" ship, the Enterprise didn't leave for a bit then return and assume a high orbit, or that it just went into high orbit. My recollection is that it didn't it just went into high orbit.)

presumably because he didn't have the power to recreate life. It is generally easier to destroy than create.

He was capable of recreating Rishon, but presumably only as an extension of himself. What good would it do to recreate the Husnock species if it disappeared in a puff of magic when Kevin died, or fell asleep, or ceased to care?

My theory is that there was no such thing as the Husnock.

I think Kevin killed the entire planet and his wife because she kept nagging him all the time.

One day he realised "I don't have to take this, I'm a superpoweredgodtypething"

Yeah, not only that but he was a serial widower. That would've been a hoot. Data finds parallels to similar mass disappearances of planetary populations...and of course, obligatory evidence that points to Uxbridge. Then they realized they've been had! They return to the planet, but Uxbridge is gone.
