The Holy Core—A Star Trek (TNG) Fan Film

I updated my review to include a paragraph I meant to but somehow inadvertently left out. (link)
But that too was only because of them. According to Starfleet Officer, the tech radiation was interacting with the tech particles. Prophet Man took the initial bust of it. So if they hadn't ever shown up, he'd have been fine. Also, hours rather than minutes surely. They crashed at night and awoke during the day.
The is the problem with technobabble, because it distances you from what's happening because it's gibberish and you can miss stuff.
BTW, bone consists of about 60% inorganic hydroxyapatite, so anything that consumes only organic matter would leave some residual skeleton.
I fucking hate technobabble.

Isn't that what happened? His face kind of burst/retracted, but left a lot of material behind, including the skull.

I'm not a huge fan either. :)

Maybe. It was just such an odd effect
that I didn't notice a skull, I just saw this wilting flower like thing. I admit my patience was being tested at that point
so perhaps it's just me not being observant in that moment.

I really enjoyed it. I just love how faithful the filmmakers are to the style of TNG. It's clear they've watched it and made note of the framing of shots, the lighting style, design of costumes, shapes in the sets and the style of the story.

Some great performances, clever use of the limited settings and a truly 'of the era' story.

From listening to Gary's interview with TrekZone, I like to think we've got a similar approach when it comes to Star Trek short films.

Hey, Do you have Star Trek: Odyssey Soundtrack? link: https://www.imdb.com/title/tt2074442/
I see you've posted this same question in two different places. You're new here, so before a moderator chides you for spamming (posting the same thing in multiple threads), let me suggest you can create a new thread in this forum if you have a question about something not currently a topic (like this thread is about The Holy Core, not Odyssey or fanfilm music).

Second, and to your question, if you're looking for the score to Odyssey, the composer's webpage is online and you could try to contact him directly HERE (LINK).

Good luck.

This fan film was so good I thought i was watching TNG again! Most of the acting was really great and when you have that, it all comes together.
