I agree that some times there is nothing more to say,,,but in this case there was,and i understand the delays and its not the delay that bugs me it was just the info that they gave us...they knew they were moving,they have an idea how long it will take to fix the episode itself,so why not tell us upfront on day 1 ..sry fans but its going to be a few months.the post that they had at first to explain the issue left the impression that it may be a few days or a few weeks...not months.
At the time, they may have thought that was the case. I can understand the disappointment, I really can, but I don't believe anyone's trying to mislead people, or withhold information.
Well Intrepid i really hope your right and im wrong because i love what they gave us and look forward to many more.I do really appreciate what Phase 2 and all the others have done for us trek fans would just hate to see it turn into a money grab.

Whatever else anyone wants to say about them they are not "moneygrabbers". That's a thought you can safely put to rest.
Im a little upset with Phase 2 atm,i love their shows and i think they do a great job but with the delay of the new episode and the lack of info they put out was a little much,for me its been hitting their site everyday trying to get more info and i bet others have been doing the same,i do realize that the more hits they get on their site the more money they make.(and they know this aswell)It would have been nice if they gave us all the info upfront and then ask for us to hit their site to help them make money for the show i would hit it 50 times a day for them...just be honest about it.There is no reason why the update that was just released a few days ago coundnt be released months ago,instead we got next to nothing....but if they said here is whats wrong,this is how long its going to take oh and ya we are in the middle of a move so it going to be awhile for a new update, thne we would know whats going on and not have to keep checking their site every day for an update...yup sry folks just my rant of the day..

i also dont mean to bash Phase 2 i love their work and im a huge fan,this was just a few observations i made that made me think "Hmmmm this COULD be a reason".

Personally, I find it much more frustrating that the Phase II message board has been "down for maintenance" and that the site is "currently offline."
Not really sure what's going on with all that, as it's been like this since Monday. More frustrating is the lack of any kind of acknowlegement when I asked about it on the Phase II Facebook page. I don't expect people to respond immediately, but the continued silence has been curious, to say the least.
EDIT: Never mind. It appears they did reply this morning, citing stability issues and further complications from their overall move.

Phase II do not, as far as I'm aware, own the German mirror site.
And your point is? The site is not, to the best of my knowledge, managed by or owned by Phase II.

So what? This strikes me as a conversation you could bring up with Phase II themselves and not here. We're all spectators, really. What's the point you're trying to make, ultimately? Why do you care?
That's what I thought. So basically your point is to imply impropriety on their part. Which I think is very, very unfair.
I think it's natural to compare and contrast what's happening in camp Phase II vs. camp Continues and what you see is Continues churning out new episodes like clockwork and Phase II looking disorganized. So it's probably not fair to assume that anyone doing a show like this must run into false-starts and delays. Continues is obviously doing something better than Phase II. For whatever flaws Vic may have on an interpersonal level (and I know some people here love to beat that drum) he seems to be a better producer who is able to get the right people to work for him and get things in the can.
Ok first off i just want to say im sorry if i offended anyone but if you read my posts i did say many times" i could be wrong" .really not trying to make a point it was just a theory, a possible reason for the hush hush about the delay,but whats surprises me is i expected some logical reasons why i am wrong or why i could be right not anger at my idea,this is a trek forum i figured everyone here would be above that.Again im NOT saying anyone is doing anything......Tis just a theory
As I said, I can understand the disappointment. I don't understand why it's necessary to make malicious speculations. These sort of 'theories' basically just stir up trouble for people. If you have a concern about what Phase II is doing, I strongly suggest you address it to the people working on Phase II. It's a more constructive and less hurtful approach.
