So, it's that time of year when everyone busts out the holiday decorations: trees, candles, lights, wreaths, Menorahs, Santas, you name it. Show us your holiday spirit!
I freaking LOVE the holidays and break out all my holiday decorations right after Thanksgiving.
So, here's some of the highlights, geek-style.
My friend got me a little tree to put my Doctor Who decorations on...but I think I might have over-done it. I need a bigger tree.
Put up the old Star Trek Wreath, which is starting to really show its age. I might need to redo it at some point.
My little tree
Latest edition to my holiday collection: this adorable Jim Shore figure. My best pal sent it to me. Junior approved.

My impression is that auntiehill likes trees with different themes, and there's nothing wrong with that.^ Auntiehill was talking about all the ornaments she has. I got the impression she has so many she would need a big tree, just to describe how much decorations she has, etc.
And what do you mean, "ecological heritage"? Also, getting Christmas trees from local tree farms would have significantly smaller carbon footprint than if everyone has an artificial tree as they often are products of fossil fuels, and usually made overseas (that's a lot of oil to make it and to transport it all over the world....). I checked it out and studies shows that unless you keep it for many years, like 20 years, it would be greener to get a real tree, especially if it is local. I doubt many people are able to keep the same tree for ten years (small ones maybe, but not 6-footers or taller that families with kids would get.
