I think that Herbert was the local district manager for Regal Entertainment Group. When I worked for them.

I don't believe I typed Jefferson Starship -must be because of being on this board.

I was working at a record store when their Earth album was released. I did a big window display, with one of the AMT Enterprise model kits as the centerpiece. All I did was hang the model on nylon thread, and surround it with album covers. It got a lot of foot traffic in the mall. That was in the days of when all we had was TOS in syndication.

Go put on your best heavy-duty headphones and crank up Surrealistic Pillow until you feel better.

I sometimes need to do the same thing using American Beauty by the Dead. :)

I wonder if the episode would have worked the same if the producers had used real 1960's era musicians as the Space Hippies. Maybe Frank Zappa as Dr. Sevrin?

Spock needed somebody who could play a mean bicycle wheel...like Eric Clapton.

Replace the space hippies with a backdoor Partridge Family pilot...or the Jackson 5.
